Mum of two, Tusa Yamagu, 34, a lecturer at the Papua New Guinea Education Institute, teaching English to in-service teachers.

Tusa says that she is proud to have won a prestigious Hornby Trust scholarship.

Tusa says that her admiration for the perfect publication of the Oxford Advance Learners Dictionary goes back from when she was at High school. She says that it’s structure and the style of presentation of the dictionary in English inspired and drove her towards the journey she is embarking on.

On return Tusa hopes to establish an English Teachers’ association which will help all English teachers share ideas and deal with teaching issues.

Welcome to the Hornby family, Tusa.
